About Us

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

We began in 2002 as a group of community members who were supporting refugees in our community with their language, living skills, and education.

When our Community College was closed, we realised that there was a big gap in our community.   There was no longer a community organisation that could auspice other groups, facilitate community consultations, support grant applications, and partner with Council and other organisations for funded projects.

We created Community Plus as an incorporated association to fill this need. Twenty years later, we have evaluated our impact and are proud of all that we have achieved.

Our Story

COVID-19  has changed all our worlds.  The need for Community Plus remains unchanged, however, our focus is now on two key community projects - Developing the Southern Tablelands Community Foundation and a Goulburn Community Trust.

Meet The Team

Community Plus

We acknowledge the Ngunnawal and Gundangurra peoples, the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land. We walk with them in the journey of National Reconciliation.
